Verbal fights on social media are the new gossip magazine when it comes to MMA and UFC. And the second most talked about fighters are Cody Garbrandt (11-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC), the current UFC Bantamweight champion and the former title holder, Dillashaw (14-3 MMA, 10-3 UFC). Former training partners DO NOT like each other at all and continue to show that dislike everywhere.
They both started their professional training in Sacramento’s Team Alpha Male and Dillashaw made quite a scene while leaving in October 2015.
While these two are on the track of a potential fight, after Garbrandt’s win over Dominick Cruz at UFC 207 and Dillashaw’s win over John Lineker on the same card.
Garbrandt tweeted this last month,
“Haha no this fool is getting it, 100% little snake in the grass @TheNotoiousMMA was right about you, #Sellout”
Garbrandt recently claimed that there is footage of a gym knockout over T.J. Dillashaw while they were both in the same club. To that, the former champion just said:
“Put up or Shut up.”
According to him, no such footage exists and he said:
“He keeps talking, he has footage of it, and I think that’s hilarious because he’s digging himself a hole. If you’ve got footage on it, put it out. It has not happened. If he does, put it out there, because it didn’t happen. Put it out there, And if it did [happen], I must not remember it because I got knocked out. It didn’t happen.”
So he won’t be releasing it if it didn’t happen. But IF IT DID, which would definitely stir something in the air and people would love to see it live again.
Garbrandt and Dillashaw seem to be gearing up for a huge fight and the bad blood that comes along with it.
